You can navigate web pages, select text, and click links with your keyboard instead of your mouse. This setting is called caret browsing.
Turn on caret browsing
- On your computer, open Chrome .
- Select More Settings.
- At the bottom, select Advanced.
- Under “Accessibility,” turn on Navigate pages with a text cursor.
Tip: You can also turn on caret browsing with the keyboard shortcut F7.
- On Chromebook, the keyboard shortcut is Ctrl + Search + 7, or Ctrl + Launcher + 7.
