When you browse with Chrome, you can share pages with people through other apps.
- On your Android device, open Chrome .
- Go to a page that you want to share.
- Next to the address bar, tap More Share....
- Select an app to share the link through.
- To view additional apps, tap More .
Tip: If you share web pages frequently, the right of the search bar may display the shortcut Share . If it doesn't, you can add Share .
- Tap More Settings Toolbar shortcut.
- Select Share.
You can drag an image or a link from a page into another app, like Gmail or Drive.
Share and edit screenshots
- On your Android tablet, open Chrome .
- Go to the page with the image or link that you want to share.
- Open the app that you want to drop the image or link into.
- Switch to Split view.
- From the bottom of your screen, swipe up.
- Above the open Chrome window, tap and hold the Chrome logo.
- Tap Split top or Split screen.
- Touch and hold, then drag the image or link from the page into your chosen app.
After you take a screenshot, you can edit it, share it with others or copy it into another app. You can also take screenshots that extend longer than your screen.
- On your Android device, open Chrome .
- Go to the page from which you want to share a screenshot.
- Next to the address bar, tap More Share….
- Tap Long screenshot.
- Long screenshot: To make the screenshot longer, drag the crop handles. When you’ve finished, tap Confirm .
- You can share the screenshot with another person or app, or save it to your device.
- On your Android device, open Chrome .
- Go to a page that you want to share.
- Tap the address bar Share Send to your devices.
- You might need to sign in to your Google Account.
- Select a device to send the page to.
- If you don’t find any devices listed, you’re not signed in to your account on other devices.
- On the device that you selected, you get a notification about the page that you shared with yourself.
You can create a QR (quick response) code to share a page from Chrome with others.
- On your Android phone or tablet, open Chrome .
- Go to the page that you want to share.
- Next to the toolbar, tap More Share…
- Select QR code .
- Follow the on-screen instructions to share pages or download the QR code.
- You can also use your camera to scan a QR code from someone else's phone.
Tip: You can also search for QR codes and barcodes with Chrome on Android.
