How do I set default print margins for multiple printers on Google Chrome for Windows 10? 0 Recommended Answers 4 Replies 32 Upvotes

We have a circulation desk that goes back and forth between an EPSON receipt printer and a Xerox Printer. The receipt printer is set to default, so the margins are correct until you switch to the Xerox. Once this happens it changes to the default margins for the Xerox, which is good. However, when you switch back to the EPSON Printer, it does not change the margins back to the Roll Paper and instead keeps it on the Xerox Printer settings. We then have to manually change the margins back before printing and takes up time when dealing with the public.

This has only been an issue for the last 6 weeks and I have yet to discover any solution or see anyone else post about this issue. It only happens within Chrome and no other browser or software. When this problem started, it affected every computer in the building, not just one machine. The only work around I've found was using print from system dialog (Ctrl+Shift+P), but the staff doesn't like this as a solution to the problem.

Are there any print settings in Chrome I can change to make the default printer settings stick to their respective printers?

Any update on this issue?  I have the same one, curious if there's a fix.

I have the same problem since a few months. Google Chrome does not remember the printer specific settings any more. When using two or more different printers, I need to set the settings every time again. Chrome is just remebering the settings of the last print.
Is there any solution?

Wish to look for the same solutions too. Have 2 different printers and different size of scaling. Each print need to adjust the settings again.
