Search for browsers

Using the search box, you can search for specific browsers in your organization. By default, the search box searches across all fields, including information in the browser details page. You can restrict your search to a specific field by using a filter. For example, to search only for browsers where the machine name matches USER5, use the Machine name filter.

There are also some additional filters which allow you to search using information that is shown on the browser details page.

Filter name Description

User

Searches the User field in the browser details page.
Note: The User filter is different from the Machine user filter.

Enrollment time

Filter by the date that the browser was registered on. The date is found in the Enrollment date field on the browser details page. You can use this to find exact dates and match ranges.

OS platform

Filter by the operating system platform. For example, windows, mac, and so on.

OS version

Filter by the operating system version listed on the browser details page, such as 10.0.17134.165. This filter can be used in conjunction with the OS platform filter to filter by a specific OS and version of that OS.

Architecture

Filter by the architecture of the computer the browser is running on. Information is shown in the Architecture field in the browser details page.

Enrollment token

Filter by the enrollment token that the browser was enrolled with. The token can be found in the browser details page under Machine policies, with format abcd1234-a1a1-xyxy-aaaa-1234abcd.

Last report

Filter by the date that the browser last synced its policies. You can use this to find exact dates and match ranges.

Last policy sync

Filter by the date that the browser last synced its policies. You can use this to find exact dates and match ranges.

Search tips

  • Searches are not case sensitive, unless otherwise noted.
  • You can include multiple search terms separated by spaces. The table refreshes to show only browsers that match all of your search terms.
  • You can search for an exact match on strings 3 characters or longer, where terms are separated by whitespace, hyphens, and periods. For example, if a machine name is USER5-W, searching for user5-W and USER returns the correct result, searching for USER does not.
