Here are just some of the policies you can enforce to protect your Chrome users' privacy and data security. Review the policies below. Then click the links to enforce them from your preferred platform.

Chrome security policies

These policies can help protect your users and their data from exposure to harmful software or other threats.

Policy description Steps for your platform
Control the use of Chrome Remote Desktop.   Windows Mac  

Force users to sign in to their managed account to use Chrome browser on managed computers.

Makes sure that policies you set in the Google Admin console are enforced.

Prevent users from downloading potentially harmful files by enforcing Google Safe Browsing warnings.   Windows Mac Linux

Chrome privacy policies

You can disable these policies to prevent information your users enter in Chrome from being sent to Google.

Form autofill

Disable this policy to prevent Chrome from saving information users enter in forms, such as names, addresses, and phone numbers.

Google Translate

Disable this policy to prevent Chrome from offering page translations in languages that are not specified in a user's Language settings.

Disable this policy to prevent Chrome from using a prediction service to help complete web addresses or search terms, when users type in the address bar.
