About Chrome browser
As an administrator, you can configure the Chrome browser for your organization's users, force-install Chrome apps and extensions, and apply the 100+ management policies Chrome provides.
You can manage your users’ Chrome experience on managed devices (via Windows Group Policy) or if they're signed in to Chrome with their G Suite account on any computer (managed or otherwise).
Install Chrome on your users' computers using the Microsoft Installer (MSI) or have your users download Chrome. You can download the standalone MSI or the Chrome Enterprise Bundle. The bundle contains the MSI, Chrome Legacy Browser Support (LBS) extension, and administrative policy templates.
Once Chrome is installed, you can manage your users through Windows Group Policies for managed devices or via the Admin console for any device where the user signs in to Chrome with their G Suite account.
To have your users access legacy websites and plugins, such as ActiveX or web forms that require Internet Explorer, preinstall Chrome’s Legacy Browser Extension and the Internet Explorer add-on. With Legacy Browser Support, users will automatically be switched from Chrome to a legacy browser when they click a URL that requires a legacy browser to open.
