Google will charge applicable state and local sales taxes on your purchase in accordance with the tax laws of the state in which Google ships your Chromebooks. For most states, sales taxes are generally calculated at the time of sale and are measured by the total sales price of the Chromebooks. Depending on state tax laws, sales tax may apply on the amount allocated for hardware, software or both.
If your organization has tax-exempt status and you have an exemption from sales tax, please contact your sales representative. Google will require the necessary documentation to demonstrate your tax-exempt status.
