Manage Chrome policies using NinjaOne

As an admin, you can deploy Chrome for Windows devices in your organization directly from your NinjaOne console.

Before you begin

Ensure you have the following:

• Administrative access to your NinjaOne tenant
  • https://www.ninjaone.com/login/ 
  • https://www.ninjaone.com/auth/#/login
• A list of Windows devices that are managed by NinjaOne

Deploy the Chrome MSI Installer

Step 1: Download the Chrome Enterprise MSI

1. Go to https://chromeenterprise.google/download.
2. At the top, select Windows.
3. For File type, select MSI.
4. For Architecture, select an option.
5. Click Accept and download.

The *.msi file downloads. For example googlechromestandaloneenterprise64.msi for 64 bit (x86) architecture.

Step 2: Create a new script in NinjaOne

1. Sign in to your NinjaOne tenant.
2. Go to AdministrationLibraryAutomation.
3. Click Add automationInstallation.

Step 3: Configure the script parameters

Set up the script form with the following details:

• Name—Install Google Chrome
• Description—Silent deployment of Chrome MSI
• Language—Batch
• Operating System—Windows
• Architecture—x64
• Run As—System

Step 4: Attach the MSI file

• Under Installer, click Choose installer file
• Attach the *.msi file that you downloaded in Step 1, such as googlechromestandaloneenterprise64.msi.
• At the bottom right, click Submit.
