Enroll browsers with Microsoft Intune Settings Catalog (Windows)

Applies to Windows users who sign in to a managed account on Chrome browser.

As a Chrome Enterprise administrator, you can use Microsoft Intune to deploy a Chrome Enterprise Core enrollment token and enroll your Chrome browsers. You can then use your Google Admin console to enforce policies for any users who open Chrome browser on an enrolled Microsoft Windows device.

Step 1: Generate enrollment token

  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

    Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

  2. Generate an enrollment token. See Generate enrollment token.

  3. Copy the token to use in step 2.

Step 2: Enroll browsers with the enrollment token

  1. Sign in to the Microsoft Endpoint Manager admin center.
  2. Go to Devicesand thenWindowsand thenConfiguration profiles.
  3. Click Create profile.
  4. Under Platforms, select Windows 10 and later.
  5. Under Profile type, select Settings Catalog.
  6. Enter a configuration name, for example Chrome Browser Management.
  7. In the Configuration Settings page, select Add Settings.
  8. In the search box search for Chrome and double-click Google Google Chrome category.
  9. Scroll down and select The enrollment token of cloud policy on desktop.
  10. Enable the setting and in the box paste the enrollment token you generated in step 1.
  11. Click Next.
  12. Select any applicable Scope tags.
  13. Click Next.
  14. Select any applicable Included groups and Excluded groups, and respective Filters.
  15. Click Nextand thenCreate.
