Enroll browsers with Jamf Pro (iOS)

Applies to iOS users who use managed Chrome browser.

As a Chrome Enterprise administrator, you can use Jamf Pro version 10.19 or later to distribute a Chrome Browser Cloud Management enrollment token and enroll your Chrome browsers. You can then use your Google Admin console to enforce policies for any users who open Chrome browser on an enrolled Apple iOS device.

Before you begin

• Make sure you have access to the Jamf Pro version 10.19 or later console.

Step 1: Generate enrollment token

1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

   Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

2. Generate an enrollment token. See Generate enrollment token.
3. Copy the token to use in step 2.

Step 2: Enroll browsers with the enrollment token

1. Sign into the Jamf Pro console.
2. Click Devices.
3. Click Mobile Device Apps.
4. If you do not already have Google Chrome in your list, on the top right, click New.
5. Choose App Store app or apps purchased in volume.
6. Click Next.
7. Search for Google Chrome in the list or import your VPP spreadsheet that contains Google Chrome.
8. Click Next.
9. Select your required Google Chrome version (iPad or iPhone & iPod version, or from your Apps Purchased in Volume list).
10. Click Add.
11. In the New Mobile Device App screen, populate any other settings you require and then select the App Configuration tab.
12. Paste the following dictionary data in the Jamf Pro console page. Replace the string for the CloudManagementEnrollmentToken key with the enrollment token copied above:

13. Click Save.

You can then assign the Google Chrome app to devices or groups.
