Personalise your Google Chat display settings

To personalise your experience in Google Chat, you can select your colour, mode and density settings.

Turn on Dark theme

Important: Dark theme for Chat is available on Android 10 and up.

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open Google Chat .
2. Tap Menu Settings Theme.
3. Tap Dark.
