You can forward a message from Google Chat to your Gmail inbox. The email includes the last 4 messages in the conversation thread. Later, if you turn chat history off, the messages stay in your inbox.
The email may take up to 2 minutes to appear in your inbox.
Tips:
- If you forward messages that are more than 25 MB to your inbox, the attachments aren't included.
- Chat app messages in cards won't forward to Gmail inbox.
- Touch and hold the message and then tap Forward to inbox
.
- Go to your Gmail inbox to find the forwarded messages.
