You can join another organisation's Google Chat with a Google Workspace guest account. At no cost to you, collaboration and communication with other organisations is easy. To join, you must be invited.
Tip: If you're part of a Workspace and want to invite a guest to your Chat, you can send an invitation.
What you can do with a guest account
Once you create an account, your invitation lets you chat directly with the person that invited you and join any approved spaces.
- Google Chat: Use chats and spaces to coordinate and communicate.
- Google Meet: Join huddles or Google Meet calls, or access Meet sessions that are shared through links.
- Google Drive: Open and edit shared Google Drive files like Docs, Sheets or Slides.
Tip: Guest accounts can't use chat in Gmail.
