If you pay by monthly invoice, you can switch to automatic payments using your credit card, debit card, or bank account.
What to know before you switch
- You can change the payment method from invoicing to credit or debit card. If you want to change back to invoicing, you’ll need to contact Support.
- Changing payment methods creates a new billing account and closes the current one.
- Any subscriptions associated with the current billing account will be transferred to the new billing account.
- Payment plans and renewal dates will not be affected.
- Make sure the payment method has a large enough limit to account for the growth in charges over time.
Change payment method to automatic payments
- Sign in to the Partner Sales Console.
- Go to the Billing page.
- Next to the invoiced account you want to change, click More

- Add a new payment method (credit or debit card or bank account).
- Click Submit
- (Optional) Click Edit billing account name to change the name of the billing account.

What if I switch in the middle of the month?
Your transaction history will show your invoice payments and any new payments you make with your credit card. For example, it shows if you:
- Make a purchase on the 5th of the month
- Switch to credit card payments on the 10th of the month
- Make another purchase on the 15th of the month
All these transactions are listed in the transaction history for your account. At the beginning of the next month, you’ll receive an invoice for the purchase you made on the 5th. By the next billing cycle, all payments will be switched to your credit card.
Any purchases made on the Annual Plan (yearly payments) require payment of the entire purchase value.
After you switch to automatic payments, be sure to pay any invoices that you receive.
