Customers
  1. In the Partner Sales Console, you create the customer account. The account includes the customer's name, domain, and contact information.

Set up your team

To set up your team on the Partner Sales Console, you need to be a super admin for your organization's Cloud Identity or Google Workspace account.

Step 1: Check your Google Cloud billing accounts in the Partner Sales Console
  1. Go to the Partner Sales Console at channelservices.cloud.google.com.

Available on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft Edge.

  2. Sign in with your super admin account.
  3. Go to the Billing page.
  4. Confirm that your Google Cloud billing accounts are listed in the console. If you need assistance, contact support.
Step 2: Assign admin roles & permissions to your team

To use the Partner Sales Console, your team members need 2 roles:

  1. The Billing Account Administrator role, or a custom role with both the billing.accounts.get and billing.accounts.update permissions on your reseller Google Cloud billing accounts. Your Billing Account Administrator role and permissions must be assigned at the Organizational level. If a user can't sign in to the Partner Sales Console, the role or permissions might be inherited through a project or resource.
  2. The Google Cloud Reseller Admin role in the Partner Sales Console. Google Cloud Reseller Admins can manage customer accounts/information, order Google Cloud (create billing subaccount), assign roles to billing subaccounts, and link projects to billing subaccounts.

For resellers of both Google Cloud and Google Workspace: Only your users who had admins roles for both Google Cloud and Google Workspace were automatically granted the Google Cloud Reseller Admin role.

Step 3: Assign existing billing subaccounts to customers

All of your existing billing subaccounts are now available in both the Partner Sales Console and Google Cloud console.

In the Partner Sales Console, you assign the billing subaccounts to your customers. Assignment doesn't affect billing subaccount roles, projects, or billing.

Step 4: View customer accounts

You can identify, search, and manage your customers by name or domain name.

  1. On the homepage, click Settings Customers.

All Google Cloud subscriptions have no renewal date and the status of "Active" (even if you remove a customer's roles from their billing subacccount).

  2. Select a customer who has a Google Cloud subscription.

On a customer's page, you manage roles and billing subaccounts and have easy access to the customer's account in the Google Cloud console.

(1) Google Cloud console: Opens the billing subaccount overview in the Google Cloud console.

(2) Configure billing subaccounts: Manage the customer's roles for the billing subaccount. Learn how.

(3) Subscriptions: Orders placed in Partner Sales Console show the name of billing subaccount (if you're assigned a role to the subaccount) instead of the ID.
