Traffic in-stream video creatives

Apply third-party URLs for in-stream or VPAID

Third-party URLs allow non-Campaign Manager 360 applications to track interactions with your creative. Get them from the vendors you work with. This is optional.

In the Third-party URL section of your creative, click Add URL. Then select a type of third-party URL to enter. You can enter multiple versions of each type of URL.

URL types

  • Start: Tracks the number of times a user starts an audio or video asset.

  • First Quartile: Tracks the number of times the audio or video asset plays to 25% of its length.

  • Midpoint: Tracks the number of times the audio or video asset plays to 50% of its length.

  • Third Quartile: Tracks the number of times the audio or video asset plays to 75% of its length.

  • Complete: Tracks the number of times the audio or video asset plays to the end.

  • Mute: Tracks the number of times a user mutes the audio or video asset.

  • Custom Click: Tracks the number of times a user performs a custom click, such as clicking on a video hot spot.

  • Skip: Tracks the number of times a user skips the audio or video asset.

  • Progress: Tracks an optional time marker agreed upon with the publisher.

Survey URLs

Survey URLs are JavaScript tags that can be inserted into a VAST tag for third-party tracking. Campaign Manager 360's pre-fetch tags support survey URLs via event tags, but you’ll need to check with your publishers to see if they support it.
