Anonymous inventory

To protect the anonymity of publishers' anonymous inventory, Verification will only provide classification data about anonymous inventory and will not reveal the page domain or display sample page images.

Requirement for buyers on Ad Exchange

All buyers (advertisers or publishers) on Ad Exchange are required to protect the anonymity of anonymous publisher inventory on Ad Exchange.

With Verification, there's a special key-value for anonymous inventory, dcopt=anid. When buyers target anonymous inventory, they must ensure this key-value is included in any subsequent Campaign Manager 360 ad tag resulting from a redirect booked in their system.

Here is an example of an ad tag with the dcopt=anid key-value:;sz=468x60;dcopt=anid;ord=[timestamp]?

Please be aware that the dcopt=anid key-value should not be inserted into all Campaign Manager 360 ad tags. It should only be inserted into a tag when buyers target anonymous inventory for that ad.

For guidance on adding key-values to Campaign Manager 360 tags, see Edit site settings.

Publishers with anonymous inventory

Publishers that make ad units available anonymously and accept Campaign Manager 360 tags for ad serving must insert the dcopt=anid key-value into the corresponding Campaign Manager 360 ad tags.
