Web/App split for Campaign Manager 360 Floodlight Activities
Estimated March 2026
If you’ve Google Analytics properties linked to one or more Floodlight configurations, Campaign Manager 360 is updating the way that Floodlight activities collect conversion pings. Currently, Floodlight activities collect both web and app streams.
Any new Google Analytics properties linked to your Floodlight configurations will split Floodlight activities by web and app streams. Existing Google Analytics linked properties will still follow existing behavior of combining web and app conversion pings into a single stream for now.
Third-party URLs will be deprecated
Estimated March 2026
The legacy impression, click, and survey URL fields at the creative level will be deprecated. These fields have already been replaced by Event Tags in the UI, and we’re now aligning this with our API. This will ensure that all tracking is handled through the Event Tags system.
You should continue using Event Tags to manage third-party tracking. If your integration currently relies on creative-level third-party URL fields, you must update your implementation to use Event Tags instead.
Creative Projects from the Campaign Manager 360 UI will be removed
Estimated April 2026
Following the sunset of Ads Creative Studio in 2025, the creative projects feature will be removed from the Campaign Manager 360 interface. Creative project entities in the UI will be deleted.
Creatives that make up a creative project will remain assignable and servable, and will be accessible from the corresponding Campaign Manager 360 Advertiser’s Creatives library. Ads that were created from a creative project will remain as standard ads in Campaign Manager 360, assigned to the corresponding campaign or placement.
YouTube Display Pixel implementation to self serve
Estimated Q1 2026
You can now self-serve YouTube and Display pixel implementation in Campaign Manager 360 via the self-service integration in Campaign Manager 360. You can link your Google Ads accounts directly to Campaign Manager 360 and apply tracking pixels from within the interface there. This streamlines conversion tracking setup, management, and provides more control and efficiency.
