Enable third-party click IDs in landing page URLs

Campaign Manager 360 features the ability to detect third-party click identifiers and ensure that these are kept in the landing page URL. This helps decrease click-through conversion attribution losses for third parties and gives you better visibility into how your ads perform across platforms.

How it works

Once enabled, this capability automatically detects specific third-party click IDs and adds them to landing page URLs from Campaign Manager 360 click events. For example, when someone clicks an ad and is redirected, the publisher's unique click ID reaches the final landing page.

Supported click IDs

Campaign Manager 360 currently supports the following third-party click IDs:

  • Snapchat: ScCID
  • Meta: fbclid
  • Reddit: rdt_cid
  • TikTok: ttcid
  • Yahoo!: vmcid

If you don’t see a publisher’s click ID in this list, reach out to your Google representative to inquire about Campaign Manager 360 supporting it.

Enable third-party click IDs in landing page URLs

To enable third-party click IDs in landing page URLs, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to an advertiser.
  2. Select Configuration under the Floodlight drop-down menu.
  3. Scroll down to the Third-party click ID passthrough section and click the section name to expand.
  4. Select the “Allow CM360 to append third-party publisher click IDs to landing page URLs” checkbox to enable the feature.
  5. Click Save.

By enabling this setting, you allow third-party click IDs from publishers to pass through Campaign Manager 360 redirects. This helps you keep accurate attribution across platforms.
