Take photos in low light

To take pictures in low light, you can use Night Mode. Night Mode is available on selected compatible devices.

Important: If you turn HDR on, Night Mode won’t work.

Take a photo in Night Mode

1. Open Camera from Google .
2. At the top, tap Night Mode .
   • You can also turn on Night Mode by tapping Settings Night Mode .
3. Tap Capture photo .
4. Keep your camera still until 'Almost finished' appears.

Turn Night Mode off

1. Open Camera from Google .
2. At the top, tap Night Mode off .
   • You can also turn off Night Mode by tapping Settings Night Mode off .
