Take photos in low light

To take pictures in low light, you can use night mode. Night mode is available on selected compatible devices.

Important: If you turn HDR on, night mode won’t work.

Take a photo in night mode

1. Open Camera from Google .
2. At the top, tap Night mode .
   • You can also turn on night mode by tapping Settings Night mode .
3. Tap Capture photo .
4. Keep your camera still until “Almost done” appears.

Turn night mode off

1. Open Camera from Google .
2. At the top, tap Night mode off .
   • You can also turn off night mode by tapping Settings Night mode off .
