I have an iCal link from from my work calendar that I am viewing in my private Google Calendar. The last update that google must have consumed from my iCal link must be days old since I a several days old state there.

The ical data is definitely there (meaning I can see at least one appointment in the data I am not able to see in google calendar). How can I fix this?

Hi Martin, Ikram,

Why not share your work calendar with your personal account instead of subscribing?

I have an imported iCal that is also not syncing. It shouldn't matter whether it is imported or subscribed or shared, it should be updating. It used to work fine. I triple checked that the URL hadn't changed; it is accurate. Tried refreshing the browser already. Looked through the help pages and tried some troubleshooting tips already.

When you add a calendar by URL it will only ever be updated at an (unknown) interval specified by Google, as opposed to shared calendars which are always up-to-date, so for serious use you should share calendars instead whenever possible. Ideally subscribed calendars would fetch the data every minute... but that isn't going to happen, not only because of Google economising resources, but also because every feed request uses resources of the feed provider.
