Daylight savings time in march 2019 is changing times in rest of year back one hour 1 Recommended Answer 81 Replies 192 Upvotes

I am setting up recurring events for the 2019 year.  Everything is fine until after Daylight savings time in March and 1 hour is being removed from everything.   The calendar looks fine in the set up when I put it in and looks fine when I view it from my window... but when I publish it for others it shows the time discrepancy. I have looked at some older posts in the help center... none of the suggestions seem to be helping.

Same for me.  It's like 2019 DST is not scheduled.  Anything scheduled between March 10 and November 3, 2019 is wrong by an hour on the recipients' calendars.  In my case, I invite myself via my Outlook work calendar and everything sent from Google calendar between these dates is an hour off.  Everything before and after is fine.  I'm assuming it is a Google issue, not Outlook.  What say you, Google?

I'm having the same problem.  I believe it's because of Daylight Savings Time which moves the time ahead one hour on the spring solstice in March.  I checked on settings and do not see how to adjust it before the actual DST change; I think it self adjusts after the fact but I need the correct times reflected now.
Please help Google,  all those on my group now see the wrong times on the calendar (for their planning purposes).

HI Google calendar, I'm having the same issue as well. Is anyone monitoring this form who can fix this bug? Thanks!

Same problem but not consistent across all browsers.  MS Edge shows events after March 10 correctly....Mozilla shows events after March 10 1 hour off.....Chrome on one computer shows time correct;y....on another computer events after March 10 are 1 hour off.  Some iPads show correct times....some show incorrect times after March 10.  I have checked Date & time settings...also Language & Region.  I have rebooted computers.  I have ensured that Time Zone is set correctly for events entered in Google Calendar.  Also I note that this is not a problem if the calendar is viewed in the Google Calendar App on mobile devices.

I see, so  yes we want everyone to see the same absolute point in time. I will check with those having trouble if their timezones are set correctly - that may be the culprit. Thanks for the help.
