Outlook/Hotmail calendar sync not available in Pixel4

I used to be able to sync my Outlook/hotmail calendar with the default Google Calendar app in Pixel4.

Since I factory reset my Pixel4 and setup again, the option to sync Outlook/hotmail calendar is no longer available.

Any help is much appreciated.

Hi Robert, Tenley,

If you don't have "Corporate" (that's on my HuaWei) then use "Exchange" instead: enter your Hotmail address but instead of "Next" click "Setup Manually" bottom-left, then fill it the details using "eas.outlook.com" as the server address. Click "Next" and you should see confirmation saying "Your Account is Ready to Go", enable "Automatically Sync App Data", and your Hotmail Calendar should show in the Google Calendar App. Tested on Pixel 3a with Android 11:

Hi Tenley, it's a personal account yes... I'll try again with the updated GMail app. UPDATE it's working fine with the latest version too.

Are you sure you didn't miss the step "Set up Manually" at the bottom left on the screen you get to after clicking "Exchange"? The key is to use manual setup, and set the "server" in the next screen to "eas.outlook.com":

On what device (manufacturer) do you have a 'corporate' option in accounts? I only have Exchange or IMAP (well there's a bunch of other irrelevant ones) but no corporate.

Ok, just dug up my old Hotmail account and tried this and it appears John is right. I guess MS is trying to force you to use the Outlook app.

Neil, I don't have a "Corporate" option in the Android Add Account menu. Maybe this is only on devices with a corporate policy applied (or do you have a personal phone)?

Neil, oddly this doesn't work for me. First, I see you still have the old Gmail logo. Not sure if that matters, but makes me wonder if there was some kind of update recently that broke this. Since it's a hotmail address,  I'm guessing this is a personal account as I'm not aware of enterprise hotmail accounts, but just want to double-check that in case I'm wrong.

If I select Exchange anyway, once I enter my email, I get an error message "to use this account, go back to the previous screen and choose "Outlook, Hotmail, and Live". If I click next anyway (as that option is still available to select), it redirects me to enterprise.google.com and says "Can't add your personal email. To use a personal email account, tap X at the top of the screen and choose Outlook, Hotmail, and Live"
