My name displays incorrectly on my work calendar. 1 Recommended Answer 2 Replies 1 Upvote

When I create an event in my work's calendar, it displays my old name as the creator. I don't use that name anymore and I will be embarrassed if my coworkers notice it. It seems silly, but I have my reasons. I found one post with a similar problem, but the user was having trouble with a secondary personal account, and the solution offered did not help me (or them).
What I've tried:
-Resaving my name on my profile
-Checking for my name on the options for the work calendar (there is no option for this on their calendar, unlike a personal calendar)
-Checking for any other setting that would let me change my name (it's the correct name in each case)
It seems that I'm not the only one having this problem. Please help!
>Edit: I found a contact in my google contacts that was listed as my old name. I don't know why it would use that as my name but only in this exact situation. I changed that name and it fixed this problem. So weird.
