How do I get Google Calendar to add locations from Maps instead of Contacts when creating an event? 1 Recommended Answer 26 Replies 48 Upvotes
I noticed recently that when I create a new event on my Android calendar app and start typing in a location, the calendar app will auto-fill from my list of Contacts instead of from Google Maps.
I tested this in the Calendar app on my iPad as well as from the Chrome browser on my PC and in both instances when I would start typing in a location it would auto-fill from Google Maps.
How do I -- or can I -- toggle the Calendar app on my Android phone to search from Google Maps instead of Contacts when I start typing a location for a new event that I'm creating?
