Google Calender Web App shows wrong time 0 Recommended Answers 14 Replies 19 Upvotes

I always have an open tab of Google Calendar in my browser. When switching to that tab (to look at appointments, make new ones, etc.) the time is always displayed wrong. The little bar-icon (see attachement) indicating the current time, for some reason, always shows the time at which I looked at the Calendar-tab last.

For example: I'll look at my calendar at 11pm, close my browser and head to bed. When waking up the next morning and opening the browser again, the time still shows 11pm on that previous date. What's that issue all about? Is there a way to fix?

Hi Simon,

What browser are you using?

I've noticed that Chrome doesn't seem to be displaying the correct date for me at the moment.

Yes, I'm using Chrome too. This issue just appeared a few days ago. Before that it was working fine.

Same here. A couple days ago something broke. It's Sunday now, and Google Calendar thinks it is Wednesday at 8:30pm Pacific. Maybe something got stuck or a bug was introduced around that time?

Same for me.   Is it a Chrome problem or Google calendar?

I'm having this problem in Safari.  Google Calendar seems stuck on Wednesday, May 1.  Though the time of day seems to be changing, it is not correct.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

Now on my Windows machine, Calendar seems to have corrected itself in Chrome.

Hi Simon,

Try these troubleshooting steps:
Clear your browser’s cookies and cache.
Try a different web browser (Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari).
Try using incognito mode.
Disable all the extensions on your browser.
If you have bookmarked your calendar, delete the bookmark and try to use this link.

Let us know if the issue gets resolved for you.

Regards,
