Hi, have you tried with all your chrome extensions disabled?

Thanks for the update Anthony, but that link takes me to https://support.google.com...

To save you time: when wanting to extend an event, press and hold until the event becomes transparent.  Once the event is transparent, you should be able to extend the event.  It worked for me.  Hope this helps!

I can edit one or two items, then the next gets stuck or the wrong thing happens, like it suddenly starting a new entry when I just tried to edit an existing one. Then with a page refresh I can edit one or two items again. Refresh and repeat. It's right on the verge of completely unusable at this point.

Happy to have found this thread as I am (still) having the exact same problem. I use google calendar as a critical tool for my work, and the ability to simple drag and drop to lengthen / change appointments is nearly gone.

Each time I try and "pick up" an appointment to move it, the appointment stays put and a New Event starts in the time-slot I've intended to drop the event in question. Frustrating! If I refresh it seems to help for a few minutes but then goes right back to not working. I'm using Chrome.

Are there any updates about whether this is being fixed?

Please fix this ASAP. With all the people y'all have, there is no good reason this is taking so long to fix. It is inconvenient to have to go in and manually edit calendar entries to move them around.

The entry on 4/30/19 is a quick fix.  While it's not as fast as just dragging it, once it becomes transparent it works.
