Drag and drop not supported properly in day view 1 Recommended Answer 5 Replies 20 Upvotes

In google calendar on Chrome, I am unable to drag and drop and adjust the duration of events with my mouse. It works fine in 5 day view or week view, but day view is not supported. When I try to drag an event, it just becomes greyed out and I don't see any visual feedback relating to the event moving or changing in duration.

This works fine for me in day view on Chrome 73.0.3683.86 on macOS, and 74.0.3729.108 on Windows; which version are you using? Have you tried after disabling all Chrome Extensions?

When will this problem be fixed ?

While Google is sorting this out I have found that if I 'sync' my Google calendar with Microsoft Outlook Calendar I can at least regain control by using this instead until Google sort the issue - I can drag and drop with ease there :-)

Drag and drop does not work for me on day view, even in incognito mode with no extensions.
When I click and hold the event turns transparent and the cursor turns to a 4-way arrow, but the event does not move with my cursor. If I let go, the event will move, but it's a guess as to where I'm dropping it.
It works correctly if I'm showing 2 or more days (eg week view).
Chrome 76.0.3809.132 (Official Build) (64-bit) on Windows 7 professional
