Possible malware getting through with unwanted events put on my calendar 1 Recommended Answer 42 Replies 48 Upvotes
I am getting reservations put on my calendar that I didn’t put on there. Last week it was to American Girl Cafe in the American Girl Doll store in DC. Today it was to a Mexican restaurant in CA at 3 am. Both said they were made by an unidentified source. The Mexican restaurant one was linked to an email. Google said the only way I could cancel the reservation was to open the email. I think this could be a way for people who want to put malware on your computer or phone to get you to open their email. How do I prevent more unwanted invitations from getting into my email?
