Drag and Drop isn't working at all anymore in the browser/web version 2 Recommended Answers 243 Replies 453 Upvotes

Drag and drop stopped working and that's a dealbreaker for me. I can't adjust the duration or move events to other days anymore. The arrow cursor just turns into a "no" symbol while I'm dragging, and when I drop it turns into a "move" symbol that doesn't actually move anything. Is there something I can do on my end? This has to be bothering other people besides me. I should add that the problem exists in both Chrome and Firefox. I feel like the problem has something to do with the little black "Event Saved" box that pops up. Is there a way to disable that popup to find out?

Hi there,

I just tried it, and it works for me. After dropping the event down (at a new time), the cursor turns shortly into a "No" symbol, while the changes are being saved. After being saved, the cursor changes back to the normal one, and the event is correctly moved to the new time.

Can you please try again? Also please verify that you have write permissions to the calendar you are trying to edit.

Hi, could you tell me what OS / Browser you are using? Do you have another browser that you can try this out on? For me, I don't need the extra "click" step in order to start the drag and drop.

I tested in Firefox and Chrome, with the same behavior in both.

Thanks for posting the workaround, it wasn't obvious that's what you had to do.  Would be nice if it had a tool tip about it.  Now that I know this, I prefer it, as it would stop any accidental changes.
