An event has appeared on my calendar and I am the only guest. The event is on 13th March and call hind-event-techno at Atlantis Hotel Dubai. I have not added the event, haven't been to Dubai other than the airport. I am shown as a guest. Is this spam? How has it appeared on my calendar? It has a confirmation number quoted in the notes.
If you search GMail for the event title you should be able to find the email, but if it's spam there's not much point - just delete the event and switch to "When I Respond" so it doesn't happen again.
That's calendar spam. If you've configured your General Settings online to add invitations "From Everyone" then other users can effectively add events to your calendar without your knowledge. It's better to use "When I Respond" or "Only if the Sender is known".
