if I remove myself from a calendar invite I created, who then own the invite?

2 part question

1) I created the invite, if I removed myself from the invite, who then has control of the invite

2) I created an invite. now that the event is set, I want to visually remove myself from that invite. I can not transfer the event to other parties. Is there a way I can be in "invisible" mode on the cal invite so if anything were needed to be altered, I still can do so?

Hi Don Le!

Welcome to Google Calendar Help Community!

Please, give more details:

Is your Calendar account a regular Gmail account or is it a G Suite account through work or school?
Is this a  Group shared Calendar?

If it's your own Calendar, as soon as you remove yourself others will not be in control of the event, unless you delegate permissions which I understand is not an option.

If it's a Group Calendar, depending on the Calendar permissions you've set up for specific members to manage and share, they will be in control even if you remove yourself.

There's no way to remain invisible since you are the event organizer. It's possible to be the event organiser as your organisation though rather than individually. This is possible with G Suite accounts.

For reference please check how to change your event privacy settings and permission settings.

Let us know if any of the settings work for your needs. Always send feedback and ask for a feature by using the "Send feedback" option from the help icon [?] drop down.
