No. It's not possible to set the time within the event. If you think that this is important, use the "Send feedback" option from Calendar settings and tell directly Google about it. 

Edit Google Calendar automatically creates events from flights confirmed in Gmail. The  andflight time is immediately visible in Calendar.

This is definitely a feature I'd like to see. 

The MacOS/iOS calendar app has this and it's nice to have.

Hi, I think it would be wonderful if commute settings adjusts it self based on my agenda insted of fixed parameters because I don't have to go to work every day at the same time. Thanks! P.

YES please, this would be very helpful.  

I have meetings at client locations and in the office and traffic and time of day is a constant challenge to navigate so I get there on time.
