Help Merging Calendars into a Single View for GC

Hey y'all!

I have a school GC that gets updated with invitations to events, but I want that to sync with my personal email on the browser. I have done that, but don't want it to show split like this:

Ideally, the red part would show on the left column only (there wouldn't be two columns) and it would sync automatically. The lilac event is me downloading the calendar from my school account and uploading it to my personal calendar, but that one does not sync automatically. Any tips on how to solve this? Preferably natively, but also open to add-ons as a last resort.

Hi Steaven,

You can switch off the side-by-side view ("View calendars side by side in Day View") in your general calendar settings under "View Options", but if that still doesn't give you what you want then you'd have to use a script.

Fortunately there's a very good one available for free that can sync events one-way from a public iCal feed into any of your Google calendars.

Personally I would avoid fetching events directly into your main calendar and create a dedicated secondary calendar instead, but both approaches are possible.
