I can’t set travel time in calendar

After one or another update, I lost the ability to set travel time in Google Calendar. I’ve read that there should be a button on the lower right in calendar to open Google Maps, but there is no such button. I have tried opening Maps on a split screen, but that did not make it connect to calendar. I’m using an up-to-date iPad Pro. I’d appreciate any advice.

Hi Arlin,

There's no way to automatically add travel time to Google calendar. You can manually add it by opening the event and clicking the location (using the desktop web browser).

This will open Google Maps on the right hand side and you can choose a route and then add it that route's travel time to Google calendar.

Hi Helen

Thanks for the screenshot - however that's not a feature that I've seen in any Google calendar. Do you use an Apple product? I know they have travel time as an option in their calendar.

Google calendar had it but it has been removed somehow
