'Tasks' calendar doesn't appear in Google Calendar Android app 6 Recommended Answers 121 Replies 374 Upvotes

I am trying to use Google Tasks to add tasks with due dates to my Google Calendar. I can see my tasks on the desktop version, in a calendar called 'Tasks'. This calendar does not appear in the Google Calendar android app. I have tried looking in the app settings to try and turn sync on for the Tasks calendar but it doesn't appear there either.

EDIT: This is an obvious bug which is being ignored. Google Calendar is a service which can be accessed in multiple ways. Allowing the design to differ so much between platforms leads to a horrible user experience.
Imagine if different emails appeared in your inbox in the gmail app compared to your inbox on gmail.com.

I have downloaded the Google Tasks app and used it to create the task and the corresponding due date. The due date shows up on my desktop calendar but not on my mobile calendar.

I cannot understand why the do not sync together.  But, as someone has mentioned, money talks.
