How can I invite a "contact label" to a calendar event? 1 Recommended Answer 160 Replies 173 Upvotes

In contacts.google.com it is possible to create "labels" which seem to have replaced the old "contact list." This is not a Google Group, it's just a personal list of people. If you have created several lists for committees or other groups of people, it might be useful to invite them all to a calendar event. It seems counterintuitive that you can address an email to "Tech Team" and it will auto populate that To line with the members from the contact label list, but the same behavior doesn't work in a calendar invite.
