I have researched this quite a bit and cannot find an answer.

I have an Android phone.  My personal Google calendar is shared with my wife's Google calendar and my work Google calendar.  My wife has no issue seeing both my work and personal calendars on her phone or browser-on-laptop.  I can see my work events on my phone calendar.  I can see my wife's events on my phone and browser-on-laptop.

I *cannot* see my personal events on my work calendar when viewed on browser-on-laptop, though the calendar is shared and showing.  I have removed and re-added the calendar multiple times, both by selecting and from an invite.

No issues viewing on the phone -- just on the laptop.

I've reviewed the forums and 99% of the topics are for not showing on the Android or iPhone.  This is *not* my issue.  I am trying to see it on my laptop, using a browser.  The calendar shows up, but no events come over.

Hi Rory,

Thanks for the detailed information.

Is your work calendar running through Google Workspace?

Also, what type of sharing permissions does your work calendar have with your personal calendar? If the work calendar is able to create or edit events on your personal calendar, does that work? i.e. are you able to see the edited event on both your phone and your personal calendar on the laptop browser?

Yes, it is through a Google Workspace.

I am able to create events from my desktop/work calendar that then show in my personal one -- including creating events in my personal calendar (with the subsequent different color coding).

But I am unable to see any events on my work calendar for that personal calendar.  I do see events on my wife's personal calendar that is shared/linked with my work calendar in the same way.

Hi, the same issue here.

When accessing Google Calendar on browser (Chrome or Firefox) the page simply doesn't load, but i'm having NO problems while loading the same calendar on IOS or Android from the accounts i've shared the calendar with.
The internet connection is ok; DNS is also ok; cookies and histpry cleaned; already tried it form different laptops and different networks.
Permissions are the same as before this problem appeard, since yesterday, no changes were made.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Rory,

Can you try creating a secondary personal calendar and sharing that with your work calendar? Interested to see if you'll see events from that one on your work calendar.

To the user having issues with the page not loading, this sounds like a different issue. Please try accessing it from an incognito browser - if it works in that format then there is probably an issue with an extension in your browsers.

Maria - can you please start a new thread to ensure we can concentrate on your issue properly.

I'm having a similar issue. I just started a new job and they shared a number of calendars with me. All the calendars synched and show events, except for one calendar. This calendar is synched and the box is checked in the left hand column, however, I cannot see any events. Everyone else can see the events. This is on my laptop and iphone. My work tried to re-share it with me a few times with different permissions, no luck. We've gone through all the settings and they seem to be the same as every other event. I'm looking for a solution here, thanks.  I've been using google calendars for year and am familiar with sharing and synching.

I can't get the appointments on my Samsung phone to sync with my laptop. Any appt I make is invisible on the laptop, even though it's synced. Then, if I type in the same appt. on my laptop, I get TWO of the same appointments on my Samsung phone!  Help, please!
Thanks!

Hi Katie - can you start a new thread? that way we can concentrate on your issue directly.

Hi Debbie - please make sure you are associating the appointments you create on your phone, with the Google 'Events' calendar rather than the 'My Calendar' (which is the Samsung default in-built calendar and which doesn't sync with Google outside of your phone).

Next to the Event calendar icon , make sure it says Events. If you don't see Events, tap the Event Calendar icon to switch to the correct calendar.
