Unable to delete a goal. 2 Recommended Answers 40 Replies 138 Upvotes
I was prompted somehow to add a goal for working out while I was at the gym. I created it and it has populated on my colander three times a week forever. I cannot find any way to remove it other than deleting the entire calendar. All of the how to's online do not have images and the steps they give do not match the UI options I have available. I am a UX designer and cannot understand how what may be the most popular calendar app can be so unusable. I can't even get through this form without the captcha turning bright red for some unknown reason.

I found
another solution that works if you´re just get shown delete single event. It is
essential to get the picture shown of how often you participate.
1.) Go in
Google Calendar on your desktop
2.) Click
on old goal dates and press “Did it”
3.) Now go
to the Google Calendar App
4.) Press on
the 3 dots on the start screen of the app and actualize your calendar
5.)
Afterwards click on the actual event/goal and go to the 3 dots
6.) Now you
can choose to “Delete all further events”

You can go to the calendar app and click on the specific goal you set. Click the 'more' button on the upper right corner and it will show delete. You'll be given 2 options if you want to delete just that session or the succeeding sessions and stop the scheduling. 😊

I manually deleted the goals I had set up. From what I have read, there is no way to delete them all at one time.

Can only delete goals from the Google Calendar app, can't do this on the desktop.

I had the exact same problem. No instructions worked or matched up with my available options. So I uninstalled the updates for the Calendar app specifically and it then gave the old option of deleting all of the times that a goal is set & prevents it from scheduling new events. I chose that option (so quickly!) and it's worked just fine.
