All day Outlook calendar events show up one day earlier on the google calendar app. 0 Recommended Answers 186 Replies 327 Upvotes

I have a Samsung S7. I use the google calendar app to sync my google (peronal) calendar and Outlook (work) calendars. Four days ago, all day events in my Outlook calendar started displaying one day early on the google calendar app.  The outlook calendar app is correct. My desktop outlook calendar is also correct. It is just the google calendar app and just all day events.

I have tried deleting accounts and reading. I have tried changing time zones. I have tried clearing app data/cache. I have deleted both apps (google calendar and Outlook).  The problem still persists.

When I add a new all day event on the app, it shows up correctly on both (app and desktop).  When I add a new all day event in Outlook (app or desktop) it shows up a day earlier on the Google calendar app.  I can edit each all-day event and change to the correct day in the app. But I have a TON of them with multiple people invited, so updated invites are sent to everyone if I edit the events. I really don't want to do this.

Any suggestions on what else I could try? I live by my phone calendar and the all-day events are crucial.

Thank you!

This is something I noticed on my calendar since last Friday and I have searched in all forums (as well as Google search) to try and find a solution, with no luck. Conveniently, there's no way to reach Google directly and none of the threads have any input by them, even though there are several experiencing this same issue! For those of us that live by our calendars, this is a critical problem and needs to be fixed immediately.

Hi Patti & Leah, I would create a test event in Outlook, export as iCal and find the relevant event data with a text editor, do the same for Google calendar once the event has synced, then compare. Afaik syncing Outlook with Google calendar is unsupported by both parties, so I doubt you'll get much help with this from Google, unless you are a GSuite user, in which case you should contact support.

Thank you, Neil.  Looks like the Google Calendar app is changing the time zone to England/London, but only for the All-day events.  Not sure how to change this, but at least I know what the problem is.

I have had the same problem.  Glad I found this thread before I did a factory reset.  Hoping for a resolution quickly.

Same issue.  Outlook.com calendar syncing on a Galaxy S8 calendar app.
All Day events only.

If I edit the event on phone, it fixes the issue, but too many all day events on a shared calendar to fix, it includes all past events as well.

New issue within the last week or so.

Anyone found a fix yet?

Same here. All day events set in Office 365 show up 1 day early out of sync.
