Hey Patricia,

Thanks for posting back!

The changes in the Google Calendar are incorporated into the new versions based on the feedback that we receive from the users. Taking the feedback into account, the Google Calendar UI is now upgraded. While I understand where you're coming from, with regards to the offline feature, I've passed on your feedback to the Google Calendar team.

Do let me know if you have any other questions.

Regards,
Stella

Clown colors, child-like design, no attempt to make a version that would be appropriate for adult usemarijuana sales became legal in California on Jan. 1, 2018.  Cause-Effect?  What were your engineers smoking?  Recommend they read a few books on UI design.

Dear Google,

Just invested in a Chromebook and really pleased with it.

However, bearing in mind how much the calendar drives the working day, to find that the calendar doesn't have an offline facility on Chromebook as we so enjoy on an android phone is surprising.

Looking at the number of enquiries on this same topic it is a sadness that there is little if any hope of any change to this shortfall.

While Gmail is undoubtedly a significant part of the Google family the inability to access the Calendar offline is also fundamental, and ought to be a significant priority for your team.

While I have no doubt that you will pass this on to the team, such is your high level of customer service, it would be very much appreciated if you could furnish me and others with some idea as to your plans for grabbing this opportunity to enhance client productivity.

With best wishes and prayers

Bill

I really would prefer to use Google calendar... BUT I often am in a situation where i need to see the calendar and i do not have an internet connection... on small planes that do not have wifi, or overseas flights, or on the road between mobile cell towers.  This ought to be a simple fix.

Is Google even listening?  Or do the programmers get to try their "great" new ideas without any regard as to WHY things were the way they were and what the end user really wants?  Once upon a time beta versions were tested by a few to see what was broken and what needed to be fixed before rolling it out to the public.
