Transfer Google calendars or events
You can transfer calendars you own to other owners, or transfer events to another owner or calendar.
- On your computer, open Google Calendar.
- On the left side of the page, click My calendars.
- Hover over the calendar you want to add someone to, and click Options
Settings and sharing.
- In the "Share with specific people" section, click Add people.
- Enter the email address of the person or group you want to make an owner.
- In "Permissions," select Make changes and manage sharing.
- Click Send.
The person or group you added will now also own the calendar.
If you created an event, you can make someone else its owner. Once someone else is the owner, they can change any of the event details.
- On your computer, open Google Calendar.
- See the event details by clicking the event you want to change.
- Click More
Change owner.
- Enter a new owner and a message to send them.
- Click Change owner.
- The new owner will get an an email with a link. Until the new owner accepts ownership, you'll be the event owner.
- On your computer, open Google Calendar.
- See the event details by clicking the event you want to change.
- Click Edit event

- Click More
.
- Select the calendar where you want the event to show up.
- Click Save.
