Create & manage tasks in Google Calendar

In Google Calendar, you can create, view, and change tasks.

Important: Only you can view your tasks in Google Calendar.

Create a task

  1. Open the Google Calendar app Calendar.
  2. Choose an option:
    • Tap an empty slot on your calendar and then Task.
    • Tap Add and then Task .
    • At the top right, tap Tasks and then Add task .
  3. Enter a title and description.
  4. Choose a date, time, and frequency.
  5. In the top right, tap Save.

Tip: When you switch categories from “Task” to “Event” in the middle of the creation process, the Calendar app retains as much of the data as possible.

View, edit, or delete tasks
