View your day, week, or month

See when you’re busy or available by checking your calendar.

Change your calendar view

Change temporarily
  1. Open Google Calendar.
  2. In the top right, choose a view, like Day, Week, or Month.
Set a new default view
  1. Open Google Calendar.
  2. In the top right corner, click Settings Settings and then Settings.
  3. Scroll down to the "Default view" section. 
  4. Using the drop-down menu, select your new default.
  5. At the bottom of the page, click Save.

Navigate your calendar

There are two ways to move between dates:

  • Use the arrows in the top left corner of the Calendar to move to recent dates in the past or future.
  • Use the small calendar in the top left corner to select a date.

To return to today's date, click Today in the top left corner.
