Important:

  • Work calendars are not added to your personal Calendar app.
  • Your work and personal calendars are stored separately. Personal account details are not shared with your work account.
  • Personal calendars on your work Calendar app are invisible to coworkers and administrators unless you share your personal calendars directly with your work account.

  1. Open the Google Calendar app Calendar.
  2. Tap Settings and then Personal calendars.
    • If you don’t see a "Personal calendars" option, your administrator may have disabled this option for your organization.

Switch from sharing your personal calendar directly with your work account to enabling the Personal calendars setting

If you previously shared your personal calendars with your work account, the "Personal calendars" setting will show duplicate personal events on your work Calendar app.

Tips:

  • Enable the "Personal calendars" setting directly on the work Calendar app to ensure data separation between your personal and work Calendar data.
  • Share your personal calendars directly with your work account to make your personal calendars visible on all Calendar surfaces, including computer and mobile devices.

To remove your previously shared personal calendars from your work account:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap the personal calendar you want to hide.
  3. Turn on Sync for each personal calendar.
  4. In Settings, enable Personal calendars.
