Subscribe to someone else’s calendar

In Google Calendar, you can subscribe to someone else's calendar if they share it with you. If someone hasn’t shared their calendar with you, you can ask for access to their primary calendar.

  • To subscribe to a new calendar, you must use a computer web browser. You can't subscribe to a calendar in the Google Calendar app for Android, iPhone, or iPad.
  • After the calendar owner approves your request, their calendar automatically appears in the Google Calendar app. 

Show or hide a calendar that you subscribe to

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Calendar app Calendar.
  2. At the top left, tap Menu .
  3. To the left of a calendar, check or uncheck the box.

Add a calendar that someone shares with you

When someone shares their calendar with you, you get an email with a link to add their calendar.

  1. In your email, tap Open Calendar.
    • The shared calendar opens.
  2. To find the calendar, tap Menu .
