View your calendars & events

Open Calendar

  • From the Home or All Apps screen, touch the Calendar icon.

Calendar displays events from each of your accounts that synchronizes its calendars with your phone. Each account may have multiple calendars available for display, based on the way you've set up Calendar from a browser on your desktop computer.

You can control which calendars are synced and displayed from each account. Events from each calendar are displayed in that calendar's color. To view your current display settings, see Menu > Calendars to display.

Calendar shows the current time (a black horizontal line in day and week views) and event times using your local time zone, as provided by the mobile network you’re connected to. Everything before the current time is displayed with a light gray background.

If you’re traveling, you can set a custom home time zone for the Calendar app. To do so, see Menu > Settings > General settings.

  • To search in Calendar, touch Menu > Search. You can type search terms or touch the Microphone icon to speak them.
  • To manually synchronize all your calendars, touch Menu > Refresh.

Note that refreshing Calendar (as well as automatic synchronization) involves using your data connection.
