Feature availability
- This feature is available as part of Gemini Alpha.
- Your administrator controls access to Gemini Alpha. If you can't find this feature, your administrator may not have Alpha features enabled for your organization.
To save you time, you can use Gemini in Google Calendar to search for everyone's availability and suggest times when no one has a conflict.
Get suggested times when you create an event
- On your computer, open Google Calendar.
- At the top left, click Create
Event.
- Add guests to your event.
- Click Suggested times.
- Select a suggested time.
Tips:
- If there's a conflict with the original time, a new time may be suggested. To accept the suggestion, click Update to [date and time].
- While you create an event, to see suggested times side-by-side with you and your guests' calendars, click More options

Get suggested times when you reschedule an event
- On your computer, open Google Calendar.
- Click the event you want to reschedule.
- Click Edit event

- Click Suggested times.
- Optional: To find times to meet on different dates, select Day, 3 days, or Week.
- Select a suggested time.
Tip: If you're the event organizer and several guests decline, a banner might appear at the top of the event with alternative schedule suggestions.
- To accept the suggestion, click Reschedule to [date and time].
- To manually find a different time, click Find a time.
- If everyone declines, you get an option to delete the event.
Learn why you don't get suggested times
You can't get suggested times if:
- You don't have an account with access to Gemini Alpha.
- You use the Calendar app for Android, iPhone, or iPad.
- The event is longer than 8 hours.
- You set up a large meeting.
- Your guests don't share their calendar with you.
