Add a room to an event

Important:To add meeting rooms and other resources to your event, you need to have a work or school account. If you have a personal Google Account that ends in @gmail.com, learn how to create a calendar for a room or shared space.

You can add meeting rooms and other resources, like projectors, to your event. If you can’t book a room, learn why a Google Calendar meeting room declines an event.

Add a room to your event

  1. Open the Calendar app Calendar.
  2. Create a new event or open an existing one.
    • To edit an existing event, tap Edit event Edit.
  3. Tap Add room.
  4. Select a room.
  5. Tap Save.

Tips:

Remove a room from your event

  1. Open the Calendar app Calendar.
  2. To change the event, open the event and tap Edit event Edit.
  3. Tap the room and then Remove Remove.
  4. Tap Save.
